Crunchyes: A Playful Display Font for Web Design Projects

Crunchyes in a Hero Section for a Boutique Online Store

I was working on a redesign for a boutique online store selling handmade jewelry, and I needed a font that would capture the brand’s whimsical yet elegant vibe. That’s when I stumbled upon Crunchyes — a playful, friendly and cute display font with a strong visual effect. The moment I applied it to the hero section headline, the entire layout felt more inviting and visually appealing than any other font I had tried.

Crunchyes has a soft, rounded character that adds warmth without feeling too childish. It worked perfectly over a full-width image of a necklace against a dark background, making the title pop while keeping the overall design balanced. I noticed how it instantly made the creation feel more unique and engaging, which is exactly what the brand wanted to convey.

Crunchyes for a Coaching Website Header

Next, I used Crunchyes for a coaching website header. The client was a life coach targeting young professionals looking for motivation and personal development. The font’s friendly tone aligned well with the brand’s personality, and I could see how it helped build trust and connection with the audience.

When I tested it on mobile screens, I made sure the font size was large enough to remain readable but not overwhelming. The result was a clean, approachable header that stood out without distracting from the rest of the content. I paired Crunchyes with a simple sans serif font for body copy, ensuring readability while maintaining a cohesive design system.

Crunchyes in Call-to-Action Buttons and Landing Pages

One of the challenges with using a display font like Crunchyes is knowing where to use it effectively. I found that it worked best for short phrases and headlines rather than long paragraphs or small buttons. For example, using Crunchyes for a call-to-action button such as “Start Your Journey” gave the landing page a sense of playfulness and urgency.

However, I avoided using it for secondary navigation links or footers since it could reduce scannability. Instead, I reserved Crunchyes for key elements like the main headline, subheadings, and promotional banners. This helped maintain a clear visual hierarchy and guided users’ attention to the most important parts of the page.

Crunchyes for Blog Headers and Digital Campaigns

In another project, I used Crunchyes for a blog header on a lifestyle website. The blog focused on creative living and self-expression, so the font’s fun and cute style fit perfectly. I experimented with different weights and styles of Crunchyes to add visual interest to the headers without compromising readability.

For digital campaigns, I also found that Crunchyes added a nice touch of personality to promotional banners and social media graphics. It helped differentiate the brand from competitors while still maintaining a professional look. I made sure to test the font across various platforms and screen sizes to ensure consistency and performance.

Crunchyes in Brand Identity and Logo Design

Crunchyes can be an excellent choice for logo design when the brand wants to communicate a friendly and approachable image. I used it for a logo concept for a children’s educational app, and the results were impressive. The font’s simplicity and charm translated well into a memorable and recognizable logo.

I also considered the licensing options before finalizing the font for client projects. Ensuring that Crunchyes had commercial use rights was essential, especially for websites, digital templates, and brand assets. Checking for webfont availability and multilingual support was also part of my process to guarantee that the font would work seamlessly across all platforms and languages.

Crunchyes for Portfolio Sites and Course Sales Pages

On a portfolio site for a freelance designer, I used Crunchyes for the project titles and section headings. The font’s modern typography brought a fresh and creative feel to the layout, helping to showcase the designer’s personality and style. It also helped create a more polished and professional brand experience.

Similarly, for a course sales page, I used Crunchyes to highlight the course name and key features. The font’s visual appeal helped draw attention to the product, encouraging potential buyers to take action. I made sure to keep the rest of the text in a complementary sans serif font for better readability and a more structured layout.

Crunchyes for Editorial Design and Branded Content

In editorial design, Crunchyes can be a great option for headlines and pull quotes. I used it on a blog redesign project where the goal was to create a more dynamic and engaging reading experience. The font’s friendly and cute style helped break up dense text and make the content more approachable.

For branded content, I found that Crunchyes added a nice touch of personality to promotional emails, newsletter headers, and campaign landing pages. It helped reinforce the brand’s identity while keeping the design visually appealing and consistent across different platforms.
